Meeting the brief.
I feel that I have met the brief as I have a proposal, Research, Production and an evaluation. I have met all the deadlines and kept in the timings given to us and I feel that I have met my standard of success.
Research.
My research consisted of watching youtube videos on how to make certain parts of a website. This was useful as I could visualise how to do the part of the website I am stuck on, then do it my self. I also looked at multiple websites explaining how to take professional photos and how to make showreels. The showreel research was very useful as I could get different ideas and info from different people which helped me create a showreel that multiple people would enjoy to see. However, the photography research was not very useful as I was not the one taking the photos of the products. I mainly researched this part as i could a sense of how things can be done for a website.
Effectiveness of workflow.
I would say my workflow was alright but there were some parts I can change. The parts I did well was Knowing what I wanted to make and getting that part done then making changes to that part after feedback and noticing mistakes. The parts I would change would be doing more work at home and next time I would get more feedback through out the project.
Scope of the project.
I felt challenged when making the showreel. This was because I did not know where to start with the project. After looking at various websites and getting feedback from my family members I feel I have created an effective showreel for the project. I also felt challenged while making the product pages as I never created one of these pages before this project. However with help from my sisters already existing de-pop page and pages Etsy I could could understand what to put on a product page. This then helped me to work with the websites template and get to the finishing product I have made.
Management.
I would say that apart from making the logo my timing was pretty good. This was because I knew exactly what I wanted to do the night before, I would then create what I fissioned then I had time to add changes and new ideas/parts needed before going to the next step of what I had in mind. The logo was a bit time time consuming because I did not pay attention to it before a teacher showed me the flaws of the first logo I had. Even though the logo was a bit more time as I was changing the logo constantly I still got my final product finished in time.
Autonomous learning.
At the start of being self Independent I felt a bit stressed and worried that I would have no idea of what I was doing. However, after a day I felt comfortable with being independent and I Knew what I wanted to do. From being independent I realised that I needed to Improve on receiving and acting on suggestions. To overcome issues on my own I would ask for minimal help from my neighbour, I watched youtube videos and looked at websites for help me with my problem.
Ideas.
Through out the project I would change Ideas all the time. I changed my ideas by looking at different websites and seeing their layouts then changing my layouts, I would change ideas by seeing the finished idea then figuring out what I wanted/needed to change and lastly I changed ideas by listening to ideas from others.
Decision making.
My decisions were effected by ideas from others, these were right decisions as they made the website I was thinking of more of a proper website. For example I have made the website take transactions with Paypal rather having to message Stephanie every time an order is made.
Skills.
The skills I have developed is how to effectively use a template, how to effectively use make a product section and I have learned how to make a showreel.
Pride.
At near to the end of this project I am proud with the product I have made because I have received positive feedback from everyone I have shown it to and I made this website with barely any knowledge of web designing. In the future I will give the website to my sister so she can use it for herself. She will have the website liked on her de-pop and Insta so anyone can see it.
Future.
My next stage is to keep the website going for my sister's business. When the website needs updating and changed for new products, I will be the one making these changes. The project has altered my future by making me consider to stay on helping my sister with her business because I find the website end to be fun and interesting as I can see the new designs before anyone else and I can use my own ideas for the website's look.
